UDYOG AADHAR REGISTRATION
Udyog Aadhaar registration is an initiative by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) designed to simplify the process of establishing and managing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India. This free, online registration system allows businesses to obtain a unique Udyog Aadhaar Number, which streamlines their recognition as MSMEs.

Conditions For Udyog Aadhar Memorandum (UAM) Registration
Online Filing: UAM must be filed electronically through the official Ministry of MSME portal.
Eligibility Criteria: Only MSMEs with investments in plant and machinery within the limits specified under Section 7 of the MSMED Act are eligible for registration.
Unit Establishment: Registration can only be filed after the unit is established, regulatory approvals are obtained, and commercial operations have begun.
Aadhaar Requirement: The Aadhaar number of the proprietor, managing partners, or Karta (for HUFs) is mandatory for registration.
Entity PAN: Companies, LLPs, societies, cooperatives, or trusts must provide the PAN of the organization along with the Aadhaar number of the authorized signatory.
OTP Verification: A one-time password (OTP) sent to the applicant’s Aadhaar-linked mobile number must be verified for the registration process.
Self-Certification: No additional documents need to be submitted, as the application is based on self-certification.
Proof Verification: Authorities may request documentary proof to validate the information provided in the UAM.
Acknowledgment: Upon successful submission, the applicant will receive a Udyog Aadhaar Acknowledgment and a unique Udyog Aadhaar Number (UAN) via email.
