India's Fastest Growing Gen-Z Startup Community
The Founding of Foundr-G
In August 2023, in the vibrant city of Bhubaneswar, an idea was born — not in a corporate boardroom, not in a glossy startup incubator, and not under the watchful eyes of investors. It began in the heart of a young dreamer, Gyananjaya Behera, who carried within him a fire — the fire to create something larger than himself.
He saw the struggles of entrepreneurs around him — the sleepless nights, the silent battles, the lack of guidance, the loneliness of chasing a dream. And he asked himself a simple question:
💭 “What if there was a place where no entrepreneur had to walk alone?”
That question became the seed of what would later be called Foundr-G — a platform where dreamers could find mentors, co-founders, investors, collaborators, and, most importantly, a community that believed in them.
But ideas are fragile. They live only as long as people believe in them. Luckily, belief is contagious. Soon, eight like-minded believers came forward: Mrutyunjaya Behera, Preetiman Kundu, Ansuman Kundu, Sumeet Behera, Satyajit Swain, A Sudhanshu Sekhar, Chandraprakash Panda, and Supriya.
They weren’t just co-founders.
They were torchbearers of a movement, the ones who chose faith over fear, purpose over comfort, and resilience over doubt.
The early days of Foundr-G were not painted in glory. There was no funding, no grand office, no sponsors waiting in line. What we had was grit and relentless belief.
Gyananjaya opened up his own company’s resources — a humble workspace, a few tools, and his unwavering determination. With these, the first steps of Foundr-G were taken.
Every month, we hosted small networking events. Sometimes, only a handful showed up. Sometimes, the room was a little fuller. And every time the same doubt crept in: “Will this really work?”
But then, something magical happened.
Every event ended with new friendships, new ideas, and new hope. People came forward and said:
👉 “We needed this.”
👉 “Let’s do it again.”
👉 “This is what Bhubaneswar has been waiting for.”
And that’s how the sparks kept the fire alive.
From day one, we believed entrepreneurship is not just about building companies. It is about building people.
For the dreamer with no one to turn to, Foundr-G became a safe space.
For the startup founder struggling for direction, it became a guiding light.
For the student dreaming of leadership, it became a launchpad.
For the changemaker seeking collaboration, it became fertile ground.
We didn’t start with money.
We didn’t start with influence.
We started with a problem: too many entrepreneurs were struggling alone.
And we dared to solve it together.
Since August 2023, we have been building brick by brick — not without struggles, not without failures, but with courage, faith, and small victories that pushed us forward.
💡 We created spaces where entrepreneurs could share their fears without judgment.
💡 We organized meetups where strangers walked in and walked out as collaborators.
💡 We nurtured young minds who wanted to be leaders, not job-seekers.
What started as a small group is now evolving into a movement of resilience, collaboration, and hope.
And yet, this is just the beginning.
Because Foundr-G is not just an organization.
It is a belief, a family, a revolution in the making.
The story has just begun.
